How to Get There:

Google Maps will take you to the wrong area within the park, so it’s best to navigate to the Kent Parks and Recreation office on Middlebury Road. General parking will be on the west side of Middlebury, just south of the park office.

If you are coming by bus, the closest stop is at Main and Prospect streets, and the park is about a 10 minute walk south from there.

What to Bring:

Please bring your own folding chair, sun protection, water bottle, note-taking tools, possible face mask, and everything you need to be comfortable outside.

Prepare to be outside the whole time you are with us. Please check the weather (link) to plan accordingly.

Food options. You can pack your own food, and we will have a potluck area for those of us who love to share!
Help us reduce waste by bringing your own reusable plates, bowls, and utensils!

Downtown Kent is just a 10 minute walk away, where there are many restaurant options.

Fred Fuller Park has potable city water and flush toilets. There are a few handicapped parking spaces available, but pathways are either grass or gravel, and there are some hills.

We are not able to offer camping at this event. West Branch State Park is 20 minutes from the park.

At past events, we’ve had wonderful medic volunteers for First Aid needs – this event does NOT have such accommodations. Please bring all your own first aid supplies.

Several of our awesome teachers will be vending – bring cash for the vending booths.

Bring instruments for community jam sessions in the evening!
